Apricots :  This relative of the peach has a lovely orange color and can usually be had year round. However, in North America apricots are in season from May to August. Apricots available outside this period are often imported from New Zealand or South America. This nutrient-rich fruit is beneficial the body in many ways. Apricots are full of potassium and iron, as well as vitamins A, C and E.
